Who We Are...

We contribute all of our success and ability to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without him we would not be where we are at today.

We are two of the most fun loving and care free people you may ever have the pleasure of knowing! Jokes are a normal part of our day and having fun while providing excellent service is what we live by. We do take our job very seriously and professionalism is a must for us but at the same time we strive to create a relaxed session that you can be yourself in. Our goal is to capture you being, well... you! Our work reflects the personalities of the people we shoot.

We are a husband and wife photography team based out of Columbus, Ohio. We are photographers in love... In love with our work, and in love with each other. What sets us apart from everyone else is that we know what love looks like. Someone once told me. "You cannot lead someone where you have not been." How can a photographer capture the love of your wedding day if they simply do not know what it is? We are unique in that we can capture true love and we can also help create moments with true love.

The wedding day is a whirlwind of excitement and emotion. You have to be able to confidently rely on your photographers because there is no time for mistakes. We promise to be those photographers that you can fully trust. We will get the shots that you want and we will also make your day that much more enjoyable. All we ask is that you will let us be a part of your amazingly amazing day!

Merry Christmas

The past couple of days have been pretty crazy in the Jacobus household. We had Brittany and Drew Dawkins wedding this past saturday on the 20th (which will be a seperate post in itself soon). We had an employee christmas party at Fiesta Mexicana in Mt.vernon on tuesday, which it was really bad outside. Jared and I spun out on the way home in the middle of the highway. THAT was scary! Christmas eve started out at my moms making cookies and just relaxing. Then we went to a candle lit service at our church home in westerville. I posted a picture below of the little boy behind me who was very interested in his candle. Its probably one of my favorite pictures from over the holidays. Jared and I arent really getting eachother anything until all the sales go on.
Christmas day started bright and early for us, getting up at 6:30am to start the day! We had a total of 4 different events to show up to yesterday, it was tiring. But at the end of the evening we went to the Big Jacobus family get together. We have a total of 4 new babies. I had different arm candy each half hour! It was great. I cant wait to have my own….4 more years! HAHA I want to be at least 25.
This saturday we have a wedding in Sidney, Ohio. Im really looking forward to it because Jessica seems to be JUST like me. Her words “Glitter head to toe”. AH!! Im so excited!
Please dont forget to check out the two previous blogs ago. Wedding give away! :-) Hope you have a happy new year and more pictures to come later!

December 16, 2008 - 3:50 pm carey - I wish I was getting married again!! To Justin of course:)

The best month so far

Oh my goodness!! I have not blogged in quite a while and I ask for your forgiveness! Jared and I were thinking that the month of December was going to be pretty slow for us….WRONG! It has been the best shooting month that we have had so far. Im so greatful and thankful that God has blessed us so much. Today we are meeting with a vendor who is going to display our books and work at the upcoming January bridal show! How awesome! Then tonight we have a meeting with a bride who is getting married Dec 27th, of this month!! Whoa baby! Tomorrow we are donating our time and talents to Big Walnut High School’s Mock wedding. There will be two ceremonys that take place and then a hugh “reception” following. Im so excited to get to work with all of these young adults. This past saturday we had the honor of shooting Rebekah and Nathan’s engagement pictures. These two are so much fun and I cant wait for their wedding. I REALLY cant wait to see her dress, I heard its pretty fantastic!
The 20th is Brit and Drews wedding. I met with her yesterday ata local starbucks to go over last details. Seems to be coming along quite nicely and Im SUPER excited for the details. Let pray it doesnt rain huh?

Big news in the Crocker/Jacobus family, my little sister and her Fiancee have decided to get married this month on the 19th! They are having a VERY small intimate wedding. Parents only and the photographer (me). Later in January they are going to have a nice reception dinner at Eddie Merlots of Polaris. Im so proud of hannah and tristan. They just bought a house in westerville and its coming along beautifully. Love you hannah and tristan!
