We contribute all of our success and ability to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without him we would not be where we are at today.
We are two of the most fun loving and care free people you may ever have the pleasure of knowing! Jokes are a normal part of our day and having fun while providing excellent service is what we live by. We do take our job very seriously and professionalism is a must for us but at the same time we strive to create a relaxed session that you can be yourself in. Our goal is to capture you being, well... you! Our work reflects the personalities of the people we shoot.
We are a husband and wife photography team based out of Columbus, Ohio. We are photographers in love... In love with our work, and in love with each other. What sets us apart from everyone else is that we know what love looks like. Someone once told me. "You cannot lead someone where you have not been." How can a photographer capture the love of your wedding day if they simply do not know what it is? We are unique in that we can capture true love and we can also help create moments with true love.
The wedding day is a whirlwind of excitement and emotion. You have to be able to confidently rely on your photographers because there is no time for mistakes. We promise to be those photographers that you can fully trust. We will get the shots that you want and we will also make your day that much more enjoyable. All we ask is that you will let us be a part of your amazingly amazing day!
Brittney and Nick were such a fun couple to shoot. We had a beautiful warm day after a couple days of rain and chilly temperatures. The two drove all the way in from Dayton, Ohio so even though the ground was a little moist, we made it work. Brittney and Nick were up for anything though. As we were shooting and chatting we discovered a love that we both shared, going out to eat. Oh boy, I love me so good cookin’. Especially if someone is there to clean it all up for me when Im finished. Thank you for giving me some great laughs and a good time at the shoot you two.

I wanted to inform everyone that the Jacobus Duo (Jared and my lovely self) will be out of our office, away from email and our cell phones locked in a trunk with a pad lock to which the code is a mystery. EVEN TO ME. Okay, so maybe not that intense. But, we will be taking today through Friday (the 27th) off to spend with our families and with each other. I love you all but its time to get my grub on! Have a Happy Thanksgiving and I will have a wonderful Thanksgiving post when I return!
Flabbergasted. Excited. Powerful. All words to describe my feelings walking onto the field of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Engagements in the “shoe” was a fantastic idea and I’m incredibly ecstatic we had a gorgeous day to shoot. Annie and Jeff met with the Jacobus Duo ( Jared and I ) about 4 months ago. I knew right away this couple was going to be so much fun. And I was right. We had a blast shooting their engagement photos. They brought a football to play around with while shooting and it added just the right accessory to the day. AndreyVoskresensky was there shooting their engagement video as well. Check out his promo video below. He’s pretty amazing!
Karin and Mark are two peas in a pod. We shot their engagement photographs at Innis Woods in Westerville. This couple is so great to be around and shooting their wedding will be a BLAST! As you look through the pictures, please pay close attention to their eyes. They both have such breath taking eyes I almost couldn’t stop staring!!!

November 16, 2009 - 6:44 amCourtney - Karin is a good friend of mine and you did an amazing job. Beautiful! and you are right about the eyes;)
Ashley and Brad met up with us at Graeter’s Ice Cream in Westerville. We shot around the area for an urban-grunge kind of feel then headed to Innis Woods for more of a park kind of feel. We stopped by the Amish Originals Furniture while uptown to snap some shots with their super cool frames out front. We have really lucked out with the weather these past couple weeks! Beautiful sunshine warmish days!
Jenny and I go way back. Like back to the cradle. Well, me in a cradle, and her running around like a little maniac. Not pointing out ages but we’ll just say that I’m the youngest of us two. I was so excited when her mother, Denise, contacted me about shooting her wedding. Its so awesome to see the people you grew up with find love and marry off! Jenny and Tile….er….Kyle met at a mutual friends house and from there it was all over with…or was it the beginning? They fell in love and decided to tie the knot! They have the most ADORABLE little puppies Ive ever seen. I’m having separation anxiety just thinking about them. Here are a few sample of their engagement pictures we took at Innis Woods in Westerville!
