I waited. And waited. And waited. Finally. Nightmares are gone. Creepy, hair-raising TV commercials have been swipped clean from my big black entertainment box. Holloween was over. Siiiighh. OF RELEIF!!!
Pallleeeeeaase!!! I begged to Jared to let me throw out one teenie tiny little christmas decoration. YES PEOPLE, I am one of thooosee. I am one of those who put outs the christmas decoration BEFORE Thanksgiving. Not that Im trying to rush my guilt-free-face-stuffing-turkey-day. I just dont see the point in setting out little gobblers and pilgrams for decor. Yes, Im Thankful for the pilgrams and indians. Dont get me wrong. But, I do love me some Reds, Greens and Golds that just scream in your face with glitter! No. NO. NOOOO!! He said more firmly each time I asked. Asked? More like sneaked in the question. Hey! Want to snuggle on the couch and play video game?…..while I put up the tree???? I thought I would have tricked him a couple of times. But, he caught on quick.
Needless to say, I didnt win. I lost. Miserably. I had to wait til Black Friday to fight the crowds at the Home Depot to buy my new tree. This was stupid. Not only did me make me wait to put it up. I had to wait until the day OF to buy the thing!

Dash was not totally thrilled to be my tree doggy model:

I couldnt resist this doggy bed for Dash. It goes quite well with our tree.
