Kelly and Steve | Married!

We had just moved into our new house. We had no bedroom furniture but  a plain mattress on box springs and a hand me down comforter from my mom. I was sitting on my bed just taking in the new surroundings. That’s when Kelly called. I saw the unknown number pop up on my iPhone and excitingly answered, “Hi, this is Rachel!” And that’s where our friendship began. Kelly and I talked about wedding details for quite a while on the phone. When Jared and I went to meet her and Steve at Panera I felt like I was walking in to meet long lost friends I haven’t seen in a while. We casually talked, discussed packages and drank some tea. When Kelly and Steve decided to book with us I just couldn’t have been more excited. Kelly talked about her decor being made up of mostly babies breath. What?!? Something different than roses?!? Kelly, are you from OHIO!? I was super pumped to be getting a chance at photographing a different style decor! And Kelly did not disappoint! I just loved everything about their decor!Their reception took place at Creekside in Gahanna!
