My favorite outfits consist of distressed over bleached jeans and snug fitting hoodies. I just don’t see where it can go wrong. I’m not a huge football fan, but if I was to watch a game it would definitely be rooting for my Buckeyes!! Ive dug up my Apple Spice candle, fall decor and even baked a caramel apple pie! A lot of events happen in the fall for Jared and I….Our anniversary, Jared’s birthday (which was yesterday Oct. 9th), My birthday (which is Nov. 9th!) My moms birthday, my parents anniversary, my nieces birthdays….the list can go on and on forever!! But, when Starbucks starts whippin up the Pumpkin spice late….Ive fallen into heaven.

Tonight I get the honor of shooting a new born shoot for Catherine and Jared Rudolph! I did their maternity pictures a few months ago and I cannot WAIT to meet their little bundle of joy! Not only am I excited about the shoot, I’m excited that I get to use my brand new 5DmarkII for the very first time! I have wanted this camera since the day it became available and I now have got my nitty gritty little fingers on it. Our next few weeks are PACKED with family photos, engagements, weddings and a trip to NYC! Whew!

As I quickly sat up in bed I had just remembered I was having a nightmare. A really scary nightmare. With aliens. I know I’m not the only one, but nightmares seem to be more realistic at night. Duh, I guess. I laid there trying so hard to go back to sleep.  Trying to forget about the nasty little creature that tried to eat me. Half an hour rolled by, an hour rolled by. I then heard the howling noises outside the house of my now, emptied bladder pup wanting to come back in. I woke Jared up immediately and asked him to get the dogs. I was WAY to scared to get out of bed. Anyone with me?

Now its 9:35am. Im still in my big fluffy purple robe drinkin my 8 o’clock columbian coffee trying to get motivated to get some work done. I look, and feel like Ive been run over by a bus.

If some of you are wondering “why did you hear your dad?” “You still live at home?”…Jared and I have been staying with my parents til our house is complete. Which should be within the next month.

I have 5 meetings in the next 2 weeks with some killer brides! I cant wait to meet them! Until our new Gallery is finished, we meet at Panera Bread, Starbucks and Cup o Joe! :-)

Beth smiled ear to ear as she seemed impressed with my smelling capabilities. (Side note to all: Winter Candy Apple is my FAVORITE Bath and Body Works scent, just in case you were wondering about a birthday gift. wink. wink.)

I can tell right away from Beth’s great choices in scents, to Kyles funny, joking personality that we will be good friends.

How could I forget?? The girl that started it all: CIENNA! Cienna is so full of personality.  She was a heart melting machine the first time I laid eyes on her.  As soon as I spoke one word in my baby impersonating voice, she lit up like a firefly dancing in the night.  I knew this job was going to be a piece of delicious cake.

We had a lot of fun shooting their engagement session. Trent has an inner goofyness inside that just bursts out throught the images. Stacy has a natural ability to be fabulous and can work it like a model!

Jared and I have never been more then a week apart and it would pain me so much to try and live a long distance relationship, planning a wedding and sometimes not being able to talk to Jared for weeks. Coffee from a BOWL! Lets get this story right. Last night Jared and I were up til about 3 or so in the morning-not by choice on my end. Jared gets together with a little group of friends on saturday nights when we dont have a wedding to shoot. They all sit around, eat pizza, and play this video game. This is usually a long drawn out process so, Im prepared to be awake til he gets home. I just dont get very good sleep when he’s not here with me. So, last night my me and my mom watched Bride Wars-totally awesome. It was the 2nd time I saw it-and I Now Pronounce you Chuck and Larry-NOT a big fan of that one. Oh yes, the bowl. So needless to say, last night I was sooo tired and couldnt get to my dishes and thats why this morning I drink it from a bowl. Try it sometime, you might like it!

My poor shoot got rained out yesterday :(   But, Im really happy the weather looks promising today for Trent and Stacys engagement session! Cant wait to post the sneak peek!

Im looking forward to every minute of them! Even though we had 2 weddings in december, winter has been so long for me! Its hard going from shooting almost every week to shooting 2 weddings and then family shoots and christmas pictures here and there. But this week is kickin things off!! We have a lot of our engagements lined up for March and then we’re kickin off our wedding season in April! So far we have at least one wedding for each month from april-december! HOW COOL!

Okay, I will be honest. Im getting super bouncy with announcing the wedding day giveaway winner. I can hardly wait. There is still time to enter if you want! We are announcing it feb 28th! yay!

Im getting my hair done tomorrow by the LOVERLY Nikki Kennedy at Kenneths on maxtown. She is a WONDERFUL hair stylist and I highly recommend her! In the past 3 years I have never once left unsatisfied. And thats pretty amazing coming from me. I am THE most pickiest person when it comes to the detail of my hair.

Also, most of you know that I have been doing Zumba and Bootcamp 5 days a week for the past month. I must say, if you are looking for something that is just a big group of fun loving women and a totally rad instructor, this place is the hot spot! http://moving4health.googlepages.com/

I personally dont like to go up and beyond in celebrating. Especially with the buying and exchanging of gifts. One thing I do LOVE about february is that Jared proposed to me in February. :-) It was a lovely story actually. This post today is nothing about our weddings or jobs. This is a personal post about Jared and I, How we met and fell in love. Did I happen to mention that my story will be told with pictures?!? :-D

Jared and I started dating April 21st 2003. I was up late one school night working on an assignment that was due the next day….my high school homework in a nutshell. Back then when I was using AIM sn Cherrymama5411<---dont ask how I chose that...I just did, I had a pop up IM from a name I didnt know with the words..."hey hun". HAHA cheeeesy starting line. So I began talking to this guy Jared for a couple of hours, getting to know eachother, chattin bout the yankees? why? no clue.

Finally it was time to go to bed if I even THOUGHT about getting up for school. We exchanged numbers and then texted eachother the rest of the night long. Jared and I chatted it up through texting and IM’s for about a week before we decided to meet up with eachother at school. OHH!! I forgot to tell you about how he even got my SN in the first place!

This is Jareds story….”I was sitting at lunch one day and saw you walking across the cafeteria and just HAD to know how to meet you. So I asked one of my friends who you were and what your SN was. I then turned to my other friend and said, “Thats going to be my girlfriend one day!!!”. HAHA little did we know, we’d be married 4 years later. I guess he should have said, Thats going to be my WIFE one day!

Through the years Jared and I got closer and closer with eachother. Through hard times and great times, break ups and make ups, we fell in love.

Just clarifying because I have never blogged before. Despite that fact that I am a new blogger I have some very important information to disclose. Its COLD outside!!!! That is my important information. Now on to the other stuff…

So last week we did some moving. We relocated about 20 minutes due North East. It was a crazy move because of the temperatures outside. We made is successfully without too many mishaps. One mishap was that the power supply on our editing computer blew up slowing down our workflow. I had one over-nighted from newegg the other day so to those that are still waiting on their photos, you should have them shortly :) We have our new print work in along with our new albums, which look amazing I might add! We also have two bridal consults this week which we are super excited about!

We have modified our direction that we have decided to take our business which is very killer! I am super excited about it. Rachel also has a new venture that she will be undertaking very shortly. She has been working very hard towards it and it will be unleashed later on this year once it is perfected.

Hopefully we can get some downtime pretty soon so that we can go hit the slopes. I got a new board that I am stoked to try out. It is a Rossi Mini 123. I have an urge to go shred some pipes in the park! I will post pics if I get to go anytime soon.

Today we have two brides to meet with. One at 10am and 3pm. Im really excited to meet these girls and get to know them. I met with some really super cool girls and their moms this past week! Its soo funny, it seems like 90% of our clients come from some kind of medical background. I LOVE IT! :-)

I found out the other day that I bride I shot a while a go is now wanting me to do her maternity pictures this summer. How cool is that?!? Im so happy for you two and wish you the best of luck with your pregnancy! Cant wait to see your baby bump!

I finally got my hair done yesterday!! By the WONDERFUL Nikki Kennedy! She works at Kenneths at the Maxtown/Westerville location. I LOVE everything that she does. She is wonderful!

Well, its moving week baby! Jared and I are taking a couple days and packing up our things and moving on up…kinda haha! We may even take some time to go up and hit some hills with the skis and snowboard! :-)

Its wedding booking time and Im so excited to be booking and working with all of these upcoming potentials! :-)

If you live in the midwestern part of the US you, too, would have seen all the snow that we have gotten! I love it. Snow is definitely my favorite part of winter time. I tell ya, if its going to be nasty cold, you better be giving me something very pretty to look at. I especially love the way snow sparkles with the street lights hit it at night :-)

I just really want to take the time and say how truly blessed and thankful we are too God and to all of our clients. During this horrible economy time it has actually been some of our personal best times. Its so awesome to know that we are taken care of and my heart goes out to all of those who are struggling. One of my weaknesses is getting the opportunity to really help someone out. During these hard times, Im really getting a lot of chances to do so. This year I want to be able to hold quite a few contests and free shooting giveaways. This too, keeps me humble and knowing that I wouldn’t be where I am at right now if someone wasn’t willing to freely give to me.

With that said, this is LONG overdue. I am announcing the winner for my LOVE BUG contest. Her name is Sarah Parker. She is so sweet and has two sweet little boys. We also share the same birthday!! How cool! We shared a lot of Loves and Bugs.
