Previously on LOST……
We cuddled into each others arms wrapped tightly in a big fleece blanket. The day had come to an end and it was now time for my favorite part. I got to curl up on the couch with my man and watch back to back episodes of LOST. Currently on season four. As we cuddled in tight my mind began to race of the many reasons why I love him….
I love you because….
- You tell me you love me 10+ times a day and my heart flutters with every word.
- You cuddle me at night when our room feels like its 30 degrees outside the covers
- You encourage me when I’m down.
- You are a godly man and get excited when we talk about our future family.
- You do the dishes, even when I dont ask.
- You tickle my knee when you tell a bad joke just so that I will laugh.
- You are my Go To guy when I’m having a problem.
- You’re always honest and straight forward.
- You fill up my gas tank when its empty. I think Ive filled my own gas maybe 5 times since we’ve been married.
- You build snowmen with me in a blizzard and have an equal amount of fun that I’m having.
- You’re not scared to go off the BIG JUMP at the ski resort. I am. But you encourage me to.
- You taught me how to snowboard. Hillbilly style.
- When I want to do a photo shoot with you you suck it up and do it because you love me.
- You make the best rabbit stew ever!
- You put everything aside when I need you.
- We are complete goof balls together and sing and dance reaaaallly bad.
- When you wake up in the morning you always tell me you love me and say good morning.
- You let the dog out at night when its dark and he has to pee. And you clean up his puke.
- You watch morning cartoons with me and enjoy it as much as I do.
- You suffer being at the mall for 3 hours while I try to find the PERFECT pair of jeans
Most of all. I love you because…
You are my anchor….

Brownies, Orange pastries, champagne, girlfriends and The Bachelor equals an awesome fun night!
Last night as I was pouring the last scope of brownie mix into the baking dish I couldnt help but think what that spoon tasted like all covered in batter. I raised it up to give one innocent lick and yes, it was divine. Simply the taste of chocolatey heaven! I popped the brownies into the oven and then started to watch the Girls Tell All episode from last Monday. Jen was on her way over with champagne and more yummy goodness and I couldn’t have been more excited. If you dont know Jen, which you better because Ive bragged about her on my blog many times now, she is the super star owner of Bella Laccio Bridal in Westerville. Yeah, pretty much, shes a bombshell bridal babe. Jen has some fabulous dresses in her store front and would love to have you come in and try some on!
Knock Knock! There she was! Time to get the party started. We exchanged our girly Hellos, Howdy do’s and Hugs. I’m pretty sure Dash over-welcomed her with lots of wet nose bumps and kisses! We soon settled into the couch and the trash talkin’ began baby….Rozlyn this….Michelle that….Ali WHHATTT? We laid down our bets as to who Jake would choose at the end of the night. BOY WE WERE WRONG. We both totally thought Jake would choose NO ONE and then go find Ali! Well, I have to admit. I’m super glad he picked Vienna even though it killed me to watch poor Tinley’s heart break. I think Jen may have sprouted some tears in Tinley’s honor…
Well America, Ali is your new Bachelorette and I’m super pumped to watch her season. Right Jen? RIGHT? Bubbly and Bachelorette!

Oh Internet, what a day I had yesterday. I woke up around 4:30am with a tragic incident that I will never forget. I will not share what happened on my blog as its mentally horrifying. As my day kept going and images and sounds still seeping out I had to turn to my Lord. Jared and I prayed together and I prayed little prayers in my head through out the day. Time will pass and hopefully the memories of what happened will go away. Mama says the more I talk about it and get it out of my head the easier it will be. Mama knows best right?
Weeding out the bad and ugly. Life is like a garden. We have beautiful clean dirt to mold into any form that we wish for it to become. Whether we choose for it to be a simple clean design or an extravagant masterpiece that will turn numerous heads as they drive by. Only we can mold and work to develop our design. But weeding out the bad and ugly. When we have finished our design, the flowers are beautiful, healthy and look so wonderful and all we can see and focus on are the weeds that are growing and sprouting out below. We then hyper focus on the ugly weeds which make them stand out even more! But life is so similar in the fact that we WILL have weeds to dig up and out of our garden. But, we need to stay focused on the beauty that is above the weeds or else we’ll miss the wonderful essence of what our garden is truly about.
I dug up some weeds yesterday, threw them in the garbage and shut the lid. Today I will only be focusing on the beauty of what my life has become and the blessing the Lord has given to me.

Thank you to Jen from Bella Laccio Bridal for making my afternoon turn completely around. Another big thanks to Stephanie with Novia Distinctive photography for making me the most wonderful healthy cookies ever! These two women are so beautiful inside and out.
Why hello Internet! So wonderful to finally be updating again. I’m sure my Grandparents down in sunny Florida have been dying to see an update from me. Well, Paps and Grams ( I have 2 sets down there ), its colder than sittin’ bare bum on an iceberg up here and we’re expecting our 3rd winter storm in 1 and a half weeks today! YAY! *cue sarcasm*.
Although I cringe in the blistering cold I have to say that this will make for more awesome skiing and snowboarding today. Jared is going to try and teach me how to ‘board today. Yes, I am a ski snob and proud of it! I’m also very excited for this week because I have 4 awesome dates this week with 4 awesome photographers!! They are bright and shining stars!
Over the week Ive shot at 2 different venues to help them get up and on their feet, built a giant 10 foot snowman, landed my first jump on skis (got 12 inches off the ground)….don’t laugh….ate more chocolate and carbs than I ever have in my life, found out I’m living with a mouse *blehhkk*, watched Jared work on the new upcoming gallery room, and pretty much relaxed!! The great thing about winter is it gives us photographers a chance to re -charge our built in batteries for the new upcoming season. Jared and I have been dabbling into some new shooting that I’m super excite about and want to get the ball rolling….like NOW!!! More to come on that super soon!
For now, here are some images to cure your curious eye!

OH! and here is a picture with me and our snowman!

Oh, hi!! You wanted a photoshoot of muah? Why, of course!!

Cant forget about Jared!!

Blogging…Logging…Jogging…Snogging…Fogging…
Fogging is a good one to end with. I’m all fogged up! I’m a foggin’ bloggin’ fool. Some days I sit behind my computer….like today…and try to come up with crazy, funny, INSANE stories to tell you. But really? My life ain’t all that INSANE! Its normal, average and sweet. Bitter-sweet at times. But mostly sweet. I woke up today in an abnormal way. I usually rise at 7:00 a.m. on the dot, pee, weigh myself (obsession of mine) make coffee and then patiently wait on facebook while my delicious cup of joe brews. But no, today was different. I woke up to Jared nudging me. Over and Over and Over. “Hey, wake up! Nyquil knock you out?” Yessss I moaned as I rolled back over to hide under my pillow. “Can I get you anything?” Yessss I moaned again. Coffee would be super. He quickly got up, peed, and made coffee. I remember laying there wondering what the time was. I rolled over to grab my phone and read 10:45 a.m.!! Panic ran through my mind….Church started 15 minutes ago!! Crap. I quickly got up, peed, poured myself a cup of coffee and sat behind my computer feeling exhausted. Whoa baby…I’m sick! Headache, sore throat, running nose, aches, bleh. I take my first sip of coffee and nearly drenched my computer in disgust. I love Jared, but he is no longer in charge of making my morning coffee! I’m sure all you die hard dark brewers out there would have loved it, but I almost hurled. Just kidding, it wasn’t THAT bad, just bad enough I had to make a new pot.
Jared and I had a little fun with lighting yesterday before my photo shoot for a Make Up Artist (her blog post comes this week). Here are the head shots we did for each other. There are more of me because Jared wasn’t exactly photo shoot-ready!

By the way, ABC check was a huge friend of mine today! I was a little embarrassed to see all of my misspelled words!!!
Turning 30 can either be a wonderful and exciting moment or a time where a lot fall into deep, dark depressions. My sister, Heather, was one of the few who looked forward to turning 30. Never once did I hear her complain about the new adventurous age turning. Her husband, Matt, wanted to throw her a surprise birthday party with close family members and friends. Mom and I set out on a mission to put together a table scape and I think it turned out pretty good! Heather was over flowing with joy and happiness and I don’t think the night could have gone any better. But, how can a night go bad when you are in the presence of 5 wonderful cooks and their amazing side dishes and 62 BBQ for the main course?? Michelle, Matt’s mother made a delicious chocolate raspberry cake that was out of this world. I think she is available for hire if anyone is interested
Heather, I have really sincerely enjoyed you being my older sister. Every little sister looks up to her older sister. Even when sometimes they get on your nerves. From yelling at me at borrowing your favorite black skirt, to dragging me behind a snow mobile in the mountains of Pennsylvania….I love you. And always will.

Mom and I put the table together! I was quite impressed with us! LOL!

Carrot Cake poppers anyone? I made them

Delicious chocolate raspberry cake! So yummy!
