The wedding day was fabulous. From sunny blue skies to a very beautifully restored Thunderbird, I just couldnt think of a better way to celebrate a wedding day!

I had way to much fun shooting with the Thunderbird. At one point in time Marcus even asked me if there would be enough film left to shoot the bridal party!! Good thing I was shooting digital and Jared was shooting film

I cannot say enough how truly excited I am to be published on one of the most prestigious wedding blogs alive. Style Me Pretty is a huge honor to be a part of and pretty tough to get accepted onto! Jesse and Joanna’s wedding left me with no doubt in that this might be something SMP would want to pick up. J+J took a very important step in hiring a wedding planner/designer group. The girls over at Shindig did a marvelous job and I couldn’t have been more excited seeing everything they’d worked so hard on come to life. They truly made the day.

I cant wait to shoot more weddings like Jesse and Joanna’s. It goes to show that investing in your details is JUST as important in investing in your photographer! I was overly inspired throughout the whole day and was perched on cloud 9 every step of the way….

Im grateful for this wonderful experience in our career!

I loved getting to know Jenna and David. They are friends of our past bride Danielle, who was recently published in Capital Style magazine! We were super excited about that! Jenna and Davids wedding day was a breeze and I never felt like there was a dull moment. They performed a first look together before their ceremony to get some fun pictures out of the way early. Not to mention it calms your (bride and groom) nerves like whoa!

Philicia and Jordan got married at Brookshire with an outdoor ceremony and beautiful reception. I love when couples choose to have an outdoor ceremony. We don’t have enough of them, in my opinion. But living in Ohio outdoor ceremonies can be quite risky. Risky was definitely the word to use for Philicia and Jordans wedding day. When we arrived to the location it was raining cats and dogs yet Philicia remained calm cool and collected. After about 30 minutes of extreme down pour the sun finally peeked back out and we were able to do the first look, some portraits and then hold the ceremony…OUTSIDE! And it was beautiful and the light couldn’t have been more perfect.

My experience with Megan and Mike was not the least bit boring. With Megans extreme class, hospitality and genuiness and Mike’s goofy, loving and “big kid” type personality I knew I wasnt going to have a bad day. Megan and Mike did a winter time engagement session and needless to say…it was COLD! Like COOOOOOOLD. Im so glad we did it though becuase their wedding was HOT. I love having the contrast in themes too. From snowball fights to an elegant laid back party, Megan and Mike gave ME such a wonderful creative experience!
