Ahh babies….I have so many lovely clients and friends who are preparing for their first child right now. Lisa is one of those lovely gals! Motherhood looks good on her. Her personality, patience, humor and “southern bell” characteristic just scream out Beautiful Mama! Her and Nick are so blessed to have their love for each other and a active healthy baby on the way.

Shooting Lisa’s baby bump shoot was the first time I’d ever felt a baby kick in their mama’s stomach. It was one of those feelings that was shocking, surprising and “oh my gosh, she just KICKED ME!!!!” I loved every minute of it and it reignited my baby fever! My 5 year plan might be minimized a tad

Crazy summer!

I woke up this morning refreshed. The kind of refreshed where you pop out of bed with a skip in your step and a smile on your face. It was a refreshing alternative to the past couple of days. The last few days Ive been dredding the thought of getting out of bed. I just wanted to curl up in a ball, turn off my phone, grab the ear plugs and beauty mask and just sleep. This, obvioulsy, was not an option. My mind was racing of blogs, emails to return, phone calls to make, fashion shows, family time, puppy time, albums…the list goes on and on. I decided its time to get myself more organized and try a new routine. This is applied today. I have a lot of blog posts that will be happening over the course of this week and next. On top of 5 new shoots this week which will be added to the blog post roll.

Donna and Pete | Baby bump

When Donna first told me that she was going to be a Mommy I was so completely excited that I squealed!! It was probably a good thing she told me over Facebook. Wouldn’t want to hurt anyone’s ears! Any of you out there who have shot with me know that when I get super excited about something I squeal like a little piggy! Sometimes I inspire my clients to squeal right along with me! Jared and I shot Donna and Pete’s wedding back last July. You can check out their wedding images HERE. Donna is a fantastic nurse and Pete is the superb owner of Mynt ultra lounge downtown. (Cough Cough….where the Black Eyed Peas hung out during their after party) Yes, I get star struck waaaay too easily.

Donna and Pete were troopers during their pictures and we had SUCH a fun time. I think Pete got tired of me, because thats when Pasha came out….160 pound Mastiff. DAWG WAS HUGE!!!! Love you two!

Baby Drew

We were welcomed with a big Italian welcome into the home of the Grandominicos. I had been looking forward to shooting baby Drew ever since I found out Jodi and Brian were pregnant. Drew is absolutely perfect and one of the best behaving babies we’ve ever had a chance in photographing. From his temperament to his complection everything about baby Drew is perfect. I cant wait to capture the most important moments in his lifetime. Love you guys!

Thomas | Newborn

The other week Jared and I were kindly welcomed in the Brenda and Steve’s Hilliard home. They had just given birth to little Thomas 2 weeks before the shoot. Thomas cooperated great and I cant wait to share the sneak peek with his family. His big brother Evan is going to be the best big brother any kid can have!

Cameron Grace Rudolph

I am so completely excited to showcase this new little baby girl. Cameron grace was such a pleasure to work with! She slept most of the time which is HIGHLY encouraged when doing a newborn shoot! We shot Catherine and Jared’s maternity pictures a couple of months ago and Catherine was SUCH a cute pregnant girl! Cant wait to shoot more of this precious little baby girl!

Now, off to shoot the wedding of Tania and Kevin! So excited! Ive got a few new tricks up my sleeves for today!!
